Second Public Notice - Notice of System Development Charge Methodology

The City of Vernonia issued a 90-day public notice, pursuant to ORS 223.204, of its intent to update its system development charges, on September 11, 2026.

The notice stated that a draft technical report addressing the methodology and calculation of the proposed charges would be available for review on Friday, October 9, 2026. This report is now available and is available at City Hall or by contacting the City of Vernonia (Contact information below). That report can also be found HERE.

A public hearing to take comments regarding the proposed system development charges is scheduled for Thursday, December 10th, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
