City of Vernonia Announces Passing of Former City Councilor and Long Time City Volunteer, Bruce McNair.

It is with sadness and regret that The City of Vernonia announces the passing of Mr. Bruce McNair, on July 18, 2021. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Bruce was an invested member of the Vernonia community throughout his life. His participation and concern in City of Vernonia happenings were extensive.
Bruce served as a City Budget Committee Member, City Council Member, City Council President and most recently as Cemetery Committee Chair and Vernonia Planning Commission member.
A great champion of Vernonia citizens has been lost, it is time for the rest of us to step up and continue to work hard for the community he loved!
His family will be holding private cemetery services.
They ask that you join them for a Celebration of Life at the Cabin in Vernonia on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
