When: A public hearing will be held by the Vernonia City Council at 7pm on July 17, 2023.
Where: 1001 Bridge St Vernonia, OR 97064. Details regarding online participation will be published with the Agenda on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
Why: The City of Vernonia is completing a wastewater design project funded with Community Development Block Grant funds from the Oregon Business Development Department. The location of the project is Vernonia Oregon. It is estimated that the project has benefited 950 persons of whom 51% are low or moderate income.
The purpose of the hearing is for the Vernonia City Council to obtain citizens’ views about the project and to take comments about the local government’s performance. Written comments are also welcome and must be received by Wednesday July 12, 2023, at 1001 Bridge St Vernonia, Or 97064. Both oral and written comments will be reviewed by the city council.
More information about the Oregon Community Development Block Grant program and the project is available for public review at 1001 Bridge St Vernonia, Or 97064 during regular office hours. Advance notice is requested.
The meeting will be streamed online, and therefore accessible to persons with disabilities.
