The site has a new navigation structure with pull-down menus triggered by moving the mouse over the menu bar near the top of the page. A new site color scheme was chosen to project a warm, welcoming site. There are pages that describe city history, government, services and life in Vernonia. There are pages for searching the Web site for just about anything. The site also houses a convenient spot to submit comments and questions, a section for forms and applications, as well as maps, park information, committee meetings and Council meeting agendas and minutes.

The site is a work in progress and new material and sections will be added as time permits. We hope you all enjoy the new site and do tell your friends and neighbors to check it out.

"This has been an interesting project" says Chip Chuprinko of Micro Chips Webs, the site developer. "Taking material from the old site, doing research for new material and blending them together with new layouts, styles and colors was challenging.
